50 CAL FILMS was founded in 2022 by writer-producer James J. Jimenez as an incubator for his own original film and television concepts. The goal is to create marketable, genre-driven content with wide audience appeal on indie-sized budgets in order to maximize profit potential. The ever-growing demand for quality content produced on affordable budgets requires a forward-thinking company that can evolve with the needs of the marketplace as exhibition platforms continue to expand and multiply.
